John Chow EBook VS Yaro Starak EBook

As you are aware I did a test study of two EBooks to make money online by blogging, both bloggers are legends in their own. First I got the EBook from JohnChow from the JohnChow.com and second Blog Profits BluePrint by Yaro Starak of blogmastermind.com and entrepreneurs-journey.com

I compared both EBooks based on the following.

Easy to understand: Both the writers did a good job on the communication level, it was easy to understand and follow the point the writer was making. John chow made his ebook in 9 chapters and each had a specific topic to discuss and there was no overlap of Information. Yaro sure made the topics specific but would have appealed more if divided in sections.

Beginners Topic: John Chow covered this topic very well with mistakes to avoid and seven habits to create. Yaro made sure that passion comes first than money.

Content Creation: I will give Yaro full points on this section, he devoted a big section of his ebook and laid out nicely his Content Pillar theory, which alone makes his Blog Profits BlurPrint Ebook a must read.

Technical Tips: John Chow made quite an effort and succeeded in making sure that the readers of his Ebook take full advantage to the simple and easy to do tips which makes a lot of difference when starting out and pulling in the Traffic. Yaro wrote about some technical tips but he missed in guiding his readers in this topic.

Monetizing the Blog: Both John Chow and Yaro Starak did a wonderful job in explaining in detail the ins and outs of monetizing, What to use and what to avoid. They both recommend in diversifying the income streams and not relying heavily on Google Adsense.

Relating to Readers: Both the writers were able to relate to their audiences and engage them in a conversation. Yaro made it even more personal with his video.

Now the poll: Which Ebook you liked more?

  1. Thanks for this post. I’m always looking for new content and ways to appeal to more readers. John’s book seemed to focus on WordPress and Monetizing. I’m interested in reading Yaro top compare.

  5. I liked Yaro’s approach better but then again I am a little more inclined toward Yaro’s way of blogging. He doesn’t write as much but when he does have a good article, it is very good. John tends to give tid-bits here and there and he posts more frequently but I almost always get the sense that he is intent on selling to me.

I think that Yaro is spot on about the passion part. If you don’t have a passion for the things you are writing about, you will quickly grow tired of it. Many new bloggers get dismayed and quit when they realize the amount of work that is involved in creating a successful blog.

  6. I’m definitely a fan of Yaro.. can’t you tell :)

His ebook also has more in-depth information as well.

  7. anyone who makes money on the internet would love to know the secret of John Chow’s success.,,’

  8. John Chow is my idol when it comes to online moneymaking;-”
